Understand the need for the new rule Admin, but how about if it's post as in recommending a member for a job, and not abuse.

You can recommend and refer to a members profile. If the member to be recommended chooses to add their contact details to their profile then other members can contact them that way or they can be contacted by private message.

NB, the rule is to combat some recent abusive postings more than a recommendation, but even so contact details should be kept out of postings where possible.

If a member has posted on here in the open forum, then that's one thing.

Trawling outside the bubble that is DIYnot for matching info (correct or not) is not. It shouldn't be relevant to the vast majority of topics anyhow.
