you and susie are both on your high horses.... i didn't hide my swearing.. it was the DIYnot profanity checker... and you two don't make the rules on here...(I am not on a high horse, I just dont like to see abreviations, or hidden swearing) if you cant accept that tough!
but realistically, my word was "yesterday", not "F*******" so whats the problem... if i'm honest wotan, you seem to be showing off to the lady ? i could be wrong !

f***k i n g is a word, and is in the dictionary... in context it was a reasonable risk, and quite valid IMO (whoops sorry susie !!)
I am well aware its in the dictionary....my point is that it is obviously not acceptable on this site....hence the asterisks. It seems foolish to me to have sentences in a word game that cannot be written in full.

you seriously think that my sentence:
"sending a telegram is so f****** yesterday !!"
really adulterates our language? "adulterate" means to "make impure"... yet i only used what was there... please grow up Wotan... there'll be other "susies"!!!

If you refer back .....I simply commented to spacecat that he had done the same as you....used a word that was full of asterisks, however I just CONTINUED PLAYING.
As to your comment about me to wotan.....I don't need anyone to take my side or fight my battles thank you very much, I am quite capable of doing that all by myself, and I am sure he is aware of that fact.
