Morning, my landlady has moved into a house with no shower.
What is going to be the easiest(cheapest?) to fit- either a wallmounted electric(9.5kw ish) or a surface mounted thermostatic mixer type?
The surface mount would be more expensive initally-but you could run hot and cold straight from the loft down the wall with no chasing(chrome plated of course).
Where as the lecky one would require a bit more mess and a qualified sparks/part p person(i`m 2nd year c+g 2330,not me then).
If i offer to fit the thermo` valve is it easy to fit a flange to the boiler? are you drilling a hole(after draining) and fitting a flange?
also will compression fittings be ok?
Cheers Ray(at work on sunday with nothing better to do!! Sorry)
