New Softwood DG windows, all very draughty in new build

Hi

I have the builder coming round in the next few days to 'walk' our snagging list in our new build house.

On the list (in fact pretty near the top) is that the majority of the windows (and especially the french doors on the rear) have draughts blowing through them, so bad its enough to move the blinds we have installed.

Am I expecting too much for these softwood double glazed windows to perform as good as the UPVC in the last house?

No there should be no draughts except maybe around the trickle vents at the top.
