After installing a new toilet we have had a few issues

the main problem is the soil pipe that connects to the toilet is approx 2" higher than standard toilet outlets. Using a multiquick we have managed to get a round this issue but this now means that the toilet is about 8inches from the wall???

The toilet has now cracked with the amount of repositioning but we are having difficulty finding a toilet that will fit to a soil pipe that is approx 9" from the floor where as standard loos are about 7".

So would it be easier to find a toilet that has a 9" high outlet or would it be easier to buy a new toilet and move the soil pipe?

Move the soil pipe or cut a piece of wood 2 " thick to place nuder the toilet to raise the outlet to 9" high

Yep, I agree with tomy's second idea. Just raise the pan by 'packing' the bottom until the outlet aligns with the soil. You could move the soil but its a big job for a DIYer.

If you're going to use wood to raise it up I'd recommend marine ply. Using anything else could result in the 'packing' material crumbling away. Give a local saw mill a call, you may be lucky enough to get an off cut that's big enough to use :D

As for the pan cracking it sounds like you'll need a new one of those too. DIY is an expensive hobby at times ;)
