Following on from previous 'water hammer,' thread...
I've had the plumber fit an arrestor, and we agreed to lower the flow to the upstairs toilet and see if that plus the arrestor would resolve the issue, without paying for the installation of a new flush system. (Got boiler service at same time, so didn't cost much more for just the installation of an arrestor)
That seems to have resolved that particular problem, but a day later a new problem emerged. If we open the upstairs bathroom tap or shower to full, now that gives a water hammer!
It seems that when I do one thing to the plumbing system, another new issue comes up.
Any ideas, much appreciated.
