I need a new boiler, my usual heating chap is Worcester Bosch accredited, plus I’ve got a few friends that have had WB & are very happy so I’m going for one as well.

He’s quoted me for a 30i & 30cdi.
Doing some research seems the cdi series is made in Germany with different internals.
The cdi is £200 more and apart from an extra 2 years on the guarantee I can’t see any other benefits of having that one?

Boiler access is good (in a large cupboard on its own upstairs), no changing of existing pipes & using a hive for controls, house has 1 bathroom and 8 radiators total if that’s relevant.

30Cdi you sure? Is there such a model.
I wouldn't look at anything apart from the CDi Classic range...the basic design has been around for nearly 15 years and the main heat exchanger goes back to the early 2000s and is far superior to the others.
Don't waste too much time with research...it's nearly always marketing lies. Most of the water side in Worcesters is actually designed by Grundfos...a Danish company....very little will be made in Germany (not that it means any better quality these days).
