Hello everyone,

I am just in the planning stage of redoing my bathroom.

Currently I have painted walls, vinyl down on the floor (a couple of wobbily floorboards) a normal white suite.

I would like to tile the floor and walls all over, replace the cistern and the bath panel and have a shower fitted over the bath.

I've no idea what order things should be done in. Can any one offer any advice?

Thanks
Vixen

I painted them about 2 years ago with dulex bathroom paint, in a blue colour....

Well before you fit your shower and new cistern you'll need to tile behind them and then grout. As for tiles on the floor it would be better to do that before fixing on a new bath panel and after you have tiled the rest of the walls.

just remember to take into account the slight raise in the floor so when you set the bath stick a few loose tiles down so your not having to adjust later on
