Newly installed Showerfroce 9.5kW shower won't work

Just to let you all know the shower is now fixed - it was the central microswitch that was at fault! The engineer hadn't seen such peculiar symptoms before but it's all working now which is a relief. Thank you to everyone who replied trying to help me. Jo
