Newly painted bathroom - considerable streaking patterns on wall

I repainted my bathroom walls and left 24 hours with no baths/showers to dry. I'm guessing that wasn't long enough as once wife and daughter got straight back in there, the result was huge streaking patterns as below.

I used two coats of Dulux Bathroom paint. The other wall had three coats and isn't as bad but also shows some streaking. I can over it again no problem but what's the solution, a longer drying time without baths/showers? Or do I need to prime it (the original paint job that I painted over was professionally done) and re-do?

I'm thinking that must be surfactant leaching maybe?
Also I wonder if you are getting lots of condensation? Decent centrifugal fan should be on to remove moisture.
If you suffer with condensation on windows run a dehumidifier for a few hours in the evening near the bathroom. Shocking how much water that pulls out the air

Yep, it is a room that does generate a lot of condensation even with window open and ceiling extractor (which probably needs a good clean/replacement tbh). The stains kinda disappeared overnight and returned again once the shower was on this morning. Thinking if I give it another coat, a longer drying time before running shower etc and as you say then getting some more fan power/dehumidifier in there?

Get a Centrifugal fan fitted.
Don't buy any other sort as useless. Get and shift some air out. Modern showers are very steamy and people do enjoy them and stay in way longer than they need to..
Look for a 12lt or bigger dehumidifier. Seriously. You will be emptying that and wondering where all the water is coming from.
They don't cost much to run. We run 2 dehumidifiers in the evening and I read they cost about 7p to 15p an hour depending on efficiency.

If you want to apply more paint do it in the morning. Open window and get a summer fan blowing the air around. Just like drying washing on a line on a windy day. Heat is no good. You need air movement. Get it dried out as fast as you can.
See how that goes.
Hopefully that will work.

On the balance of probability, I would expect further coats of paint to suffice. That said, yeah it is likely that the condensation is the problem.
