Hi,
I'm looking to intall a "NewTeam - 1500-XT Power Shower". I'm happy with the overall set up, though the actual design is pants from an install point of view (screw holes too close to pipe inlets etc). However, my main concern is that the instructions state "Do not seal the edge of the unit to the tiled surface with any sealant, as the gap below the back of the unit and the tiles is needed for ventilation". Looking inside the unit, it all looks a bit too exposed to me, and there are no seals (that I can see anyway) isolating the electrics inside. Anyone installed one of these before? if so, am I being over cautious? Can't mess with h2o and electrics!
Cheers,
Tosh
