as it's a "from the ground up" build and he's got NHBC on the case, would the sparky still need to notify anyone about the electrics or would the NHBC/LABC do the testing?
The applicant tells the inspector if he is using a certified sparks or tells them that he requires them to do the inspection and will make the installation accessible for inspection/testing at the relevant times
I'm not sure how this fits in with the NHBC pricing structure though - it may not be included in the fees, but unless specifically excluded, then I understand that it would be included in any fee for works which will include notifiable electrical work
