Trunking is very neat though. The sockets have switches so they can be turned off before the shower is used.
 
Could well be real, those socket types are used ALL over India as I well know. You often find them mixed with other two-prong-type sockets as well. I have seen installs just like that (in terms of zoning). Their approach - while obviously full of danger - seems to err on the side of common sense, meaning they'll make things work with no regards to aesthetics or safety and just expect everybody to use their noggin.

Didn't we used to use those sort of principles before the elf'n safety mob went crazy.
Today's generation expects everyone else to look after them and blame (and sue) anyone they can find when things go wrong.
If we keep avoiding Darwin's "Theory of Idiocy and Technical Evolutionary Elimination" (TITEE) we'll end up as a race unable to think for themselves
