Hi guys, I had the bathroom moved upstairs and the room is now empty. There is no electrics in the room apart from a light switch and a wall mounted extractor fan. I want to use it as a computer room but there is no electrics. I was wondering if I could run an extension lead from the kitchen (the combi boiler is connected to one of the plugs in the kitchen this way) into the room? There is about a 12ft distance between the kitchen socket and the room. Thanks in advance.

You could. But, trip hazard etc. Much better to get a sparks to put a few sockets in.

It's OK just make sure it's fully unwound if it's necessary for the rating of the extension, and don't go plugging fan heaters etc in. And of course the above points about trip hazards.
However as alluded above it's not a recommended long term solution.

EFLI's suggestion is good: if you find a socket on the other side, you could drill through and fit a socket in a convenient 20.
