Hi,
i had a worcester bosch c1 boiler which i beleive is a rebadged 28si fitted 9 years ago by a bunch of cowboys who trade by the name of Scottish Gas.
CG 47 311 53
Ever since the boiler was fitted it was constantly losing pressure, was told by SG that this was normal as was the 2 out of 5 cold radiators. At the time of installation i took out a 5 year maintenance contract to cover me for any breakdowns which as it turned out wasnt worth the paper it was written on.
The heating would be tempremental in its operation, sometimes it would run for days without any problems or it wouldnt run at all (flashing light)and i would have to constantly reset it in order for it to stay on.
Any way to cut a long story short i decided to tackle the boiler isssues myself a few weeks ago, discovered that 3 of the 4 pipes that lead from the heat exchanger were leaking, sourced the fibre washers directly from WB and fitted them, now when i switch the boiler on it ignites and the burner comes on for about 5 seconds then goes off for about 6 seconds, this happens 4 times and then the light flashes and i have to reset it and the whole process begins again, still no heating.Even better now is that when i turn the hot water tap on the light flashes fast and i can only reset it if i cut the power to the boiler.
I still have no heating or hot water. Can someone suggest anything please.

Seriously though, I think you need a RGI as you've already broken the combustion chamber seal, try a local independant via recommends from friends/relations/neighbours etc.
