Hi
After reading the previous postings etc - I've come to the conclusion that the motorised valve is broke (Honeywell 4073)
With the CH 'on', there's 240v on the grey and white wires but the valve doesn't move - no 240v on orange. If I manually move the lever right across the pump and boiler kicks in - I've been running the heating like this for a couple of days - is that ok?
Someone mentioned a 'pimple' - is this on the front of the cover just below the screw slot? - If so can I remove the casing from the brass fitting without flooding the airing cupboard, as there's about 4inch clearance in there!
Thanks for your time and advice in advance.
