no hot water changed diverter valve and dhw heat exchanger

i have no hot water or only warm water i have changed the diverter valve
i have also changed the dhw heat exchanger any one out there have any ideas as its becoming a nightmare now .could it be a thermostat or electric problem its a valliant ecomax 824 thanks
