Hello all. I hope you can help.

Just recently I am getting no hot water first thing in the morning. If I go to shower at 6.00 the water will be cold, but by 6.30 it is warm and come 7.00 it is quite a lot better. The heating is working fine and I have no problems with hot water in the evening.

Since I have recently opened up the thermostatic valves on the radiators and set the heating to come on in the morning I thought it might be this but I tried this morning with programming the heating not to come on at all and I still had the problem.

I have a glowworm swift flow combi boiler. I only moved into the house 6 months ago so I am not sure how old it is.

Any advice would be much appreciated

Thanks.

The time of day it is should not make any difference to the temp of hot water with regard to a combi!

A combi heats the water on demand i.e. when a hot tap is oened.

Are you sure it is a combi? ;)

What are the on/off set times for the heating?

I think that the DHW flow switch on your boiler has failed and it is only giving hot water when the heating is operating.

Boiler repair needed.
