Hi

Please can you help? I have had no hot water for nearly 3 weeks now. The combi boiler has been checked by an engineer several times, and we have managed to run hot water off from it via a hose and not through a tap. No error messages appear either. Once you try to run hot water through the tap, the pipes bang and crash and then the taps, upstairs and downstairs run dry. The boiler engineer has walked away as it's not his problem and has no suggestions as to what is causing it. Has anyone any ideas so when plumber comes at weekend I can make sure he spends time looking for the right thing as when I described it to him over the phone he had no idea either. The central heating is working fine thankfully.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Apologies. Boiler is Heatline Solaris. All was running fine, no alterations to pipework, taps or any part of the system. Just running a bath and taps ran dry. Due to loud banging from boiler that was the first port of call, and engineer came out to find no fault, although he did replace the diverter valve as a precaution. This boiler is only 14 months old. Pipes going to/from boiler bang and shake before water dries up. Cold water all fine as is central heating.

Thanks again, apologies for lack of info.
