No hot water

Good news. Well not totaly. Have found the model number. Was trawling through the forums and someone posted that you can find the details on a sticker on the bottom of the burner chamber. He was right.

I have a CombiCompact VCW GB221H.

Just need to find out if it is the gas regulator that has gone, or the control board that tell the regulator to, erm, regulate.

I dont know why you are fixating on just one component in a quite complicated boiler.

Firstly I would not give you advice relating to the gas valve as replacing it a job for a CORGI engineer unless you were competent enough not to have to ask for advice.

When trying to diagnose boiler faults you have to start at the beginning and check the simple things first. Water pressure, demand for heat, pump, flow, fan, aps, etc. The gas valve is the last component on the list.

Jst thought i would apply my rather extensive training as a diagnostic engineer to this problem. Pressure fine, water flow fine, pump sounds fine, it just doesnt fire up when you put demand on it.

Agile, thought the main idea of these forums is to gleen advice and info from other people. Didint expect to be told off

Raden can you see if the boiler i have is on your cds and if so can i be really cheek y and ask if you can email me them. Unless that will upset agile?

MOD 2

you are a new poster so i will advise you
pack the sarcasm im sick of fighting (and that goes for the lot of you)
