I purchased the above over a year ago but for various reasons have only opened the box today to discover that inhibitor must be used as it's made of mild steel. We have an old primatic cylinder heating system and therefore cannot use inhibitor.
However, I assume that all the radiators in the house are made of mild steel and although the house is 40 years old only one of them has had to be replaced for a pin hole leak.
Therefore, whilst I appreciate that inhibitor should be added would there still be a reasonable life expectancy for the towel radiator without?
