i got this to level out the dips and voids created by tearing up the tiling from the bathroom floor
i mixed a half bag and set the water level as directed...good idea to put lines on the tub
it went well and i mixed it as vigorously as i could with no lumps..
it went everywhere and finally found the low points and voids
i thought i would do a second application as the first wasnt really enough
i mixed it the same..in the garage and then two steps to the bathroom
the mix seemed a bit more watery...so i guess i got that wrong
but it ran similarly into dips etc and i troweled any excess into areas marginally low

what i discovered however was quite a bit of what looked like sand in the bottom of the tub as if i hadnt mixed it in...or it settled out almost right away
it seem to me that this separation would take place in deep areas and the sand/fine aggregate would act as a bulking strata and the more watery strate lie level and set into a good smooth finish...??
i have got something wrong along the way...any comments

all areas are brick hard and cured out in 3-4 hours and onwards
the sandy stuff dried out and i scraped it off next day..no problem
finally

after finishing i took the empty tub to the garage and sprayed with water the inside to clean for next time and left about 4" water in it
next day as i poured out the water and there was a sediment in the tub..quite set and i had to scrape it out..it was about 1/2" thick
cheers

spoke to no nonsense in bristol
and they told me i got the mix wrong..over wet
they say the leveller is really water sensitive
using precise measurements then i got the rest of the floor levelled well
for me it has been a successful product used correctly, the levelled parts have turned out glassy smooth and level...right to the edges
does spot areas and edges really well...i bought a decent trowel by ragni
