no power soundbar

Bought a Logic soundbar and had it stored while I made a base for tv so only tried to connect it this week to find there is no red light when switched on to indicate power. Checked fuse in plug before going back to Currys and they confirmed there is a power issue , but the guarantee has expired. Any comments on a solution appreciated.

How long have you had it? The guarantee is in addition to your legal rights. Your legal rights say items should be fit for purpose and last a reasonable time (6 years, or 5 in Scotland).Currys will squirm a bit but be firm, ask for the manager, contact head office, CAB etc.

Got it April 2018 but only tried it this week. Will see if they will be reasonable as it is only one month out of warranty and is a fundamental fault and not fit for purpose. Regards

Currys are really trying it on then. There is an EU rule giving you a 2 year guarantee.
