Had to remove 2 radiators to replaster the downstairs walls. When refiring the boiler (a VokeraLinea 24 situated upstairs) it has taken a long time to put any heat back into the rads. the upstairs ones now get hot, the two downstairs lukewarmish. The pressure on the boiler is very low but when I try to re-store the pressure there is no usual sound of the water gushing into the system. I have bled all rads (exept one that the blooming stupid bit had lost its corners so I can't release it! Typical!) Is it just a case of letting the system adjust itself with a bit of time ie am I just being impatient. There were a few gurgles in the pipe/rad downstairs that I can't bleed, but certainly no banging in the pipes etc. I can get hot water from the system.
Any ideas? Is this just normal for the system to take a long time to re-fil? Any tips would be appreciated! Thanks
