Hello

My pump was making a ticking noise that got louder when I turned it up but that's now stopped (assume its completely failed rather than fixed itself). I also have no pressure in the system that drops from 1.4 to zero in around a week.

Other than those issues. I don't have any problems - hot water heats and the rads heat.

Should I just ignore the issues? Or am I damaging something else on the system by leaving them?

If the hot water and central heating works then the pump must be working. The pressure loss is of more concern. You must have a leak or faulty pressure vessel.

The drop in pressure seemed to be after the ticking stopped, so I assumed the two were related.

I can't find any leaks - no drips and no damp stains. How else can I locate one?
