No Room Stat

My partners house has a Vaillant boiler (non combi) CH system with TRV's on all radiators but it does not have a room thermostat. This system was already installed when she moved it.

Is this an fairly normal / acceptable situation?

COmmon but not very good. I believe the saving if a r.s. is fitted is reckoned to be 5%.
A wired one wouldn't cost a lot to install but there's the darned wire.

Wireless ones are £50 upwards, plus probably 1 - 1½ hour's installation.

I just bought a digital wireless one one ebay for £37, that was £20 less than the local shops...bargin

Only problem now is how to install it....see my post in forum...
