No Water From 1 Tap Only

Hi guys about 3 weeks ago a plumber from the council came to fit 2 new taps to the bathroom sink.

Steadily over those weeks the pressure in the hot water tap has reduced until now its reached the point where we get a short trickle when the tap is swithched on and then nothing.

We have a combi boiler in the house and all other taps work fine.

As we have put in a right to buy application since the taps were installed the council refuse to come out and rectify the problem.

Does it sound like a simple fix I maybe able to do myself?

sounds like either a restriction in pipework to tap or the tap washer sticking down ! turn the water off and check the washer

Thanks for the reply. After searching on the internet looks like the problem is related to the tap rather than anything else. Going have ago at dismantleing it tomorrow.
