Help!

Woke up this morning (-12 celsius) to find that I have no water coming from the hot taps.

Central heating and hot water are both heated through a Remeha Avanta Plus Combi-boiler. The central heating works fine, so at least we're warm.

Cold water is working fine.

The combi-boiler is not showing any error codes and seems to be happily running.

Could it possibly be a frozen pipe somewhere? This would make sense but doesn't explain why the cold water is OK as the boiler is presumably fed from the same feed? Could be wrong though.

Thanks very much.

Sounds like it may be your motorised valve that has seized up (?) but others more knowledgeable than me will confirm or deny / comment.

How odd - we have exactly the same problem today - and we're in cambridgeshire! You don't happen to live in Willingham do you?!

Have you fixed it yet?

No water means it has frozen either before the boiler or after the boiler.

As opposed to water which is cold coming out of the hot taps.

Thanks - hopefully time (and temp) will sort it - weather set to get milder tomorrow, so fingers crossed!
