Hi I know the answer is probably pretty simple but what is the best way to strip Noburn cable or Fp200 (I believe it is sometimes called). The sheath is fairly simple to cut but it seems that the sleeving on the cores gets damaged to easy when getting the ouer sheath off so I assume there is the perfect way to do this, ie scorring or nipping away etc.

I am surprsied how weak/soft the actual core sheaths are even so though.

Any info appreciated, I have googled it but found nothing helpfull.

The one in the picture has a blade and you change the depth to match the sheaf thickness and simply tug it along the length required.

If the cable only needs an end making off, sub 200mm- lightly score around the sheaf and bend- the sheath will snap off cleanly and then you slid it off.

Score a ring around it and then simply snap the sheath off

Either with a stanly knife or with a pair of cable croppers
