Hi, conventional Ideal boiler whistles (kettling?) when the burner is on - really noisy inside and outside house. All radiators hot and no apparent air in system. Problem may coincide with having extra radiator added to system - not sure.
Don't want to compromise system - should I be calling someone to fix it?

Thanks,

Brawbairn

are there any radiators above the boiler (ie upstairs) if they are hot then youre system is full of water, if you live in a bungalow or rads upstairs are cold then there isnt enough water in the system - check the header tank.

If there is water in system then maybe the kettling is caused by a scaled up heat exchanger.
