While I'm on my upgrade flick... Any ideas on how I could reduce the noise when the tank has been drained down after a shower/bath. It’s fed by 15mm direct mains. It’s quite noisy when the water refills.

Not sure if the brass section contains a flow restrictor/reducer as I never installed it.

Cheers,
Sparky

Insulation around the tank (including the lid and on the pipes) should help :)

Is there anything else I can do apart from the lagging? I.e. just seen the below part mentioned in one of the forum threads. Though not sure if it’s any different to the one in my pictures and if any less noise gain would be achieved.

I installed a Dudley hydroflo in my cistern over the weekend & it’s pretty good and I was thinking if I could install that in the tank, but surely the bell in this case would be to small.
