Recently, I had British Gas Homebase came out to service my boiler. The next day they fitted a new heat exchanger. Ever since then two radiators are making clicking/ticking/spirting sounds when the timer/heating goes on. I have bled all radiators numerous times and a little air comes out of the bathroom one every time and odd occasion some out of the bathroom one.
I have had 2 different men come back who have done different things, such as opening/closing valves, bleeding radiators and pump and adding silencer to one of the radiators.
Since draining some of system and adding silencer on Thursday it seems to have got worse!!
More air also coming out of the bedroom radiator now too.
Sorry I know nothing about ch/radiators etc, but it’s driving me mad and waking me up.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Radiators sit on tiny nylon lugs called saddle strps. When they get hot or cool they move causing ting and click noise. Check all radiator have saddle strips. Go look.

Thank you so much for your reply.
The couple of gas men that came said air and maybe scale.
I know that you can get noises of expanding etc but this sounds like it’s coming from inside the radiator.
It has been over 2 weeks since the new heat exchanger, but when the 3rd man came on Thursday and did some draining and added silencer (seemingly making noises worse) it has just been 2 days. Could that have set things back again, eg air and scale settling ??
I’m so fed up with ringing British Gas and waiting on hours for appointment after appointment. These are the noises. I don’t know if the links will work…don’t really know how to attach video from phone.

Yeah. That's air.
If you got corrosion in the system then that creates gas. Bleeding won't stop it as more gas is created.
Inhibitor stops that.

I suspect that when British Gas fitted the new heat exchanger, they drained the system and, when they refilled it, they didn't bother to add any corrosion inhibitor. So now your steel radiators are corroding and emitting gas - not air but mainly methane. You need to get corrosion inhibitor put into your system ASAP.
And BTW, what is this "silencer" that they added?

Thank you both for your replies.
I’m really panicking now because I don’t know who to get to do this as I don’t know what I’m doing. Is it left in the system??
Is this inhibitor safe for old systems??
The silencer was fernox f2?!

You can use F1 and F2 together.
One stops the rust and the other stops the bubbles.
Your need to ask the questions.

Might still have air in system but that floats to the top of radiators so not difficult to remove after a few days bleeding.

Thank you.
Who can I get to do this, as I literally don’t know what to do??
What do you mean “your need to ask the questions”

Ask about F1 and F2.
Do you have it already?
Ask about that.

Ask about what's causing the problem.
Ask what you can do yourself if anything.

Thank you for all your help.
I’m getting a second opinion from a family friend who is very experienced in ch etc.
They are coming to look tomorrow so
