I had a new gas central heating system installed just a few months ago and had initial problems with very noisy downstair radiators which was sorted by British gas.
Since then i've always noticed a noise similar to a kettle when it first starts to heat up especially in the downstair radiators, when the boiler was heating up and total silence when it reached the required temperature.I was starting to think this was normal until i checked my son's house system where there is absolutely no radiator noise when his boilers on.
He doesn't have a combi boiler like mine.Would this make a difference?
The question which i would love to know is ,should there be any audible noise from the radiators when the boilers on?????
The system is still under warranty.
