Noisy/rattling washing machine (CDA)

My washing machine's been making one hell of a racket when it reaches the final sping stage - it sounds as if there's a coin stuck in it or something, but I can't find one.

I'm obviously wary of taking anything apart...

Could it be something obvious/easily fixed?

squeeze the rubber drain sump at the bottom of the drum, foreign objects tend to collect there.

tip it back and shake would help first
