Hello all!

Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions before I call a plumber out... I have a mixer tap on a shower that I noticed the mechanism was going past it's locking point for a few months and now it seems to of locked way past it in scolding hot territory.

Does anyone know how I can open this tap, clean it out and have a look before calling someone over or is this best left to the professionals?

Many thanks

Adam

Prise out the end cap, remove the screw and pull off knob..cartridge will either screw out or perhaps held in with a grub screw.
