Looks like its been off a number of times. The joint faces all need a good clean with a wire brush, both the pipes and filter housing. Although the clamps have been renewed are they the same size and type as the oem ones?

Makes sure it is not under any strain when being clamped. Get both ends in position loosely and tighten both ends gradually so it takes up its “natural” position. Make sure any sensor connections are in the correct orientation and nip them up as you go.
You need to get it all assembled before you start tightening so it can line up.

May be worth adding dpf filter to your title so others can spot the thread.

Sometimes, joints like this can leak if the clamps are done up too tight. They deform and then you just get them pinching the "female" part of the joint at the points nearest the fastener(s). Post up a photo of the clamp and the mating part on the DPF, please.
