I don't really follow boxing but i paid attention to his fight against Manny Pacquiao who paid tribute to him today. The article mentions Hatton's struggles with alcohol after he retired.

Worked with Pentangle John Martyn Richard Thompson played with the transatlantic sessions group also jass with the likes of Stan Tracey and Tubby Hayes.
Many years as a session musician played on hundreds of tracks including Cliff Richards congratulations!
Saw him a number of times including a mad night in Sheffield. Charity gig seemed half of Sheffields musicians had turned up to see/play with him including Richard Hawley .
