When West Ham's ground was at the Boleyn, that was very near to my workshop and I used to see him go past regularly in his Roller. The reg was D6 OLD but like the true east end chav that he was, he had altered the digit font and spacing so that it read D 6OLD with a couple of coloured numberplate bolts added to make the '6' look like a 'G'. It looked really, really naff, more so because it was on a Rolls Royce.
