notched trowel size and type

I'm tiling my shower with 200 x 100 tiles. Read lots of documentation and info on websites and I've now firmly confused myself.

I'm thinking that a 10mm notched trowel is the way to go but what do you guys think?

I did. It says 6mm is standard for wall tiling however it makes no mention of wet areas. I've since found the bal manual which says use 10mm.

8 or 10mm notched will do that size off tile.

No probs....

Remember always have the ribs off adhesive going across the wall not up the wall....

Tiles won't slip down as much...
You won't get to much adhesive coming thro between tiles....
Any water ingress won't run down behind the tiles as much,,..the ribs will slow it down and absorb it...lol...

Just follow mfr rec...regarding adhesive curing time and when to grout ect..
