Now the fun begins

Makes no diff. to me...Anyone, and i mean absolutely anyone, but Trump. I can't stand the thought of that smug blowhard farting random opinions around the media over the next two years.
I'd still prefer Trump won the nomination for the GOP. He's a known nutter, expected to "blowhard farting random opinions around the media over the next two years."
Whereas DeSantis will re-unite the party using exactly the same Trumpian "blowhard farting random opinions around the media over the next two years" as Trump, but he will be accepted by the non-Trumpian fans in the GOP as well.

oh ffs its a press conference that fox broadcast i see you struggle with basics
When Hannity switched off Trump's rambling, low-key, announcement on tuesday it sent another clear signal Murdoch was done with the orange oaf. It's going to be a samll amusement watching the Trumpster rampage through the GOP tearing down the candidates threatening to oppose his Trumpness. And keep an eye on Mike Pence. He hasn't said much but if he does throw his hat in the ring and gets to speak at a televised candidates debate, don't expect him to hold back in his opinions about what really happened in the Oval Office, especially the events leading up to january 6th. He could be Trumps, 'Geoffrey Howe' moment.

good to know you are in the inner circle and can keep us updated
Maybe you should go live there.

Biden or a replacement may do well in their next election. Their right like ours has got firmly into divisive politics in Turmp's case by often spouting garbage. His hook to get the vote initially was America First. Our's was a little different but in some ways similar. We all know that slogan was. Like our right they probably now have problems agreeing with each other all of the time.

Another factor. The country has had 30 years of Tory rule since Mrs T. It's done the country a lot of good hasn't it. It's also left a legacy that makes a change of direction in some areas very difficult for another party to do. The latest budget which has highlighted problems suggests that nothing in these areas are likely to change under this lot in the foreseeable future. Same old doctrine, same old slogans unless they can come up with new ones. Not that they need new ones given the views of some of their supporters. One new one got them a very healthy majority. Can't use that one again.

Yep its amazing the damage 13 years of labour done to this country but it just shows how fearful the public are of letting them back in that a sh#t show like boris got such a clear majority

Trump's a bit upset. It seems the USA attorney general is a stickler and doesn't want political interference in their legal system so has appointed some one to sort it out. An attorney who has prosecuted both the left and the right for corruption. Also handled war crime prosecutions. Another stickler. As he has handled war crimes Trump says he's a lefty. Trump mentions this and then throws in his usual rigged election garbage for his followers that believe it.

Reason for the change - he's declared that he will be standing for president so any decisions concerning prosecution needs to be watertight. The bloke that has been appointed is known to be apolitical.

Trump and war crimes. This is down to the ICC looking at Palestine and certain happenings in Afghanistan

Noises about the UK having similar issues in Afghanistan have just gone away. The USA ones could have gone the same way without Trump's actions.
