numb looking extention on bunaglow

hi, guys, iv just moved into a bungalow a few months ago, with a nice long drive, partner is wanting to add a garage or a log cabin , but the extention at the back of the property is protruding into the drive part,, we in the process of having knocked a wall between kitchen and dining and are about to move the kitchen back into the original part of the bungalow and the extention that is protruding , we cannot decide what to with, all we know is we want a chill out area and dining area, there is a flat roof that needs redoing, and the whole front of the extention we fancy glass doors leading out onto the south facing garden ,
1. do we knock it down and start again

does anyone have any ideas as to what we do with this numb looking extention, any help
