My toaster started tripping the RCD this morning, normally, I'd just lob it away, and hey ho, buy another, but this is a dualit toaster so, chucking nearly £200 of toaster away is not that appealing. My guess is that the elements are probably at fault, either that or the kids have poured water into it, does anyone know if you can have dualits repaired? I've contacted Dualit via their website, but I thought I'd just check here as well.

Oh, yeah, sorry its a 4 slice vario if that makes any difference.

have you done the obvious like turn it upside down
or looked to see if some one has displaced the element
by poking somthing in and causing a short

Yeah I tipped it up side down, gave it the critical eye, couldn't see 'owt, but.... it's working again now..... odd.
