Hi all,

Does anyone know where I could obtain some internal Octagonal Windows?

We're preferably after two for an internal stud wall to let some light through from one room to another..

I've only found one online stockist and the windows are a bit too large at 20" x 20" (and they were expensive!)

They don't have to be particularly robust, plastic or wooden frames and single glazed is fine.

Any ideas?

Cheers

bit off 12mm ply draw the exact shape on the board [called a rod]

assuming your using 2x2" par draw a line 44mm inside the lines going from the line on one side to the other all the way round so you have 2 octagonal lines 44mm apart with triangles at the intersection now you can half lap by following the lines alternating with the triangles on the front off one bit and missing on the back

or you draw lines through the 2 points to give the angles [22.5] and use dowels biscuits dominos or proper mortice and tenon joints
