Hi all,

I have a job replacing the door to a victorian conversion flat that was booted in by burglers . . . . no problem I thought, until I measured it! It's 33mm thick, 745 wide and 1965 high.
So to get the height I'd need a 1981 high door, but these only come in 686 wide - too much to plane off - and then there is the depth - can't even find a door thats 33mm deep so hinges and yale lock nightmare!

Other than making a new door from scratch , any suggestions?

cheers

You should not have problems getting 1981x762 (6'6"x2'6")

And 35mm in a common internal thickness, assuming its an internal entrance to a flat.

sure Jason, no problem getting that size - but a problem taking it down to 745 - and an even bigger problem that it's 35mm thick and the exisitng one is 33 mm . . .
