My water pump has started acting strange, it needs bleeding after every cycle of the burner. You can hear the water stop flowing and when you bled it there is hissing for a few seconds, after every cycle, then you hear the flow again

What I've tried so far: bleed system where possible, plumber changed pump as we thought that might be the issue, changed an auto air vent near the pump (located between the boiler and the pump, something which I've read is not ideal), tried with vent open and closed, drained system and refilled. Will contact the plumber again but looking for possible suggestions.

It's an open system with f&e tank, pump is located about 2 feet away from boiler. Could air be getting sucked in by the boiler?
