Oh ****

been there, done that.
with screws though. took forever to clean up. by forever i mean there were screws all over the kitchen floor for about a month, getting slightly smaller each day.

I have a small compartment with dividers built into the top of my toolbox containing odd wood screws, accessory screws, washers, brass screws, plugtop fuses etc.

It typically gets a 'shuffle' 4 times a year, as I forget to clip the lid back down before opening the main compartment. And I don't even do this stuff for a living!

How did you expect it to balance with the boxes re-arranged in a different layout to the layour specified in the diagram in the lid.

Do you always ignore the guidelines for the use of tools.

No sympathy...... ( and yes I have had similar time consuming incidents )

Yeah - put the boxes where the lid says.

Then put SWA glands in some and sleeving in others.

RF, you must of laughed as you went to get your camera out.

Normally these things happen when you are in a rush and short of time.............then you spend the next 10 minutes picking the things up only to chuck them in the box, to go home and spend more time trying to sort them out.

My daughter will sort those out for you, it'll only cost you £2 - thats what she charged me recently when i tipped my screw case.

Now why didn't I think of getting my neighbor's granddaughter to do that a few months ago when I tipped over a similar box full of screws, nuts & bolts? I bet it would have pleased my neighbor to keep her quiet for a couple of hours as well!
