oil bolier ignites then locks out

Thanks for getting me so far.

I was running on quite a low level of fuel so I had the tank filled. I've sourced and fitted the correct capacitor and I've manually activated all the contacts on the control box as I had a feeling it may be sticking. I also adjusted the flame so it was (a bit) yellow

Having done all that the boiler seems to be working normally, cycling on and off until satisfying the CH demand. The only thing I am worried about now is that the motor seems to run hot, certainly very hot to the touch on the end casing (e.g. not bearable for longer than a few seconds) can anyone confirm if this is OK or not?

Well it's a 90 watt motor. They get hot if they're having to run against a stiffish pump.
