Oil feed pipe connections.

Just went to plumb centre to get some sealant for making compression joints on my oil pipes and they gave me a small tin of black sticky liquid.
Can't remember the name of it as I am at work at the moment but does this seem correct? Thanks.
Oftec engineer is checking all work.

Sounds like "Heldite" which is the best oil sealant on the market, make sure you keep the lid on though cos it starts to cure very quickly in the air oh and wear disposable gloves!!
