OIL FIRED HEATING SYSTEM

The water in the expansion tank for the heating system in the attic gets very hot and steam comes out of it.I have turned down the termostat on the boiler to under half way and the water temp down to 45 degress but it still gets very hot.Also i only get 1 shower having the heating on for 4 hours or more. Any ideas????

Anyway, Sounds like your boiler control stat has gone t£ts up.

I change a lot of Boulter stats.

my moneys on a warmflow or a firebird and yes it does sound like the stat.the hw prob sounds like poor circulation,is it pumped or gravity?
