OIL SPILL REMOVAL IN VW BOOT

Had an unfortunate oil spill onto the carpet in the boot of my VW Golf. It stinks!!! Have unsuccessfully tried to remove the oil with a combination of carpet cleaner and a high pressure jet washer. Has anyone any information as to how I can get rid of the oil. Many thanks.

Throw the carpet away and get another one.

Swarfega is very useful for removing oil from fabrics. You need to use plenty and rub it in well; leave for a while before washing out. Its effectiveness is significantly reduced if you make the fabric wet first.

Or as suggested look out on ebay for another boot carpet
